Drushya Musham

Drushya Musham is a Junior who is currently pursuing a good time in high school. She believes that an artist is “ a habitual practitioner of a specified reprehensible activity”, accordingly, she is working towards making a lifestyle by thinking creatively, expressing freely, and exploring fearlessly. In school, she has taken several art classes and worked in all sorts of mediums ranging from acrylic painting to ceramics. She has won multiple art competitions and has had her work periodically displayed in public libraries. At the age of 15, she started her own business as a micro artist who engraves names on grains of rice (drushyart.com). Starting with her bedroom walls, she stated personalizing shoes, calculators, water bottles, clothes, etc. Growing up in India, she has seen a lot of food insecurity in her community. She hopes to raise awareness about such topics with her passion for community service and this amazing opportunity to honor America’s homefront during WW2!
